These people are thieves! Karen said she didn't have a leash exactly like I wanted, but would send one anyway, and if I didn't like it could return it for another. After notifying her by email and phone (which they NEVER answer) that I was sending it back and wanted a different one - and after they had taken payment - I could never reach Karen or anyone else at the company again. Given a gift certificate for this company oct 2012 and ordered product which never arrived. Called once and spoke to someone who said they were moving and the product would be delayed but they would email us , which they never did. Numerous calls and emails went unanswered over the next 4 months. Request for refund also never answered. Contacted the person who bought the gift certificate who also tried to contact the company but they also never replied to them either. I started out with a very good phone call and order. However, after that nothing was good. I called after I was told I would receive my order in following week. I called to check on it and the call was no returned. I waited until the following week and then called again. No return call. I tried to email them but the form asks for an order number and they never gave me one or emailed it to me so the email would not go through. I called several more times. This is my second experience with LDS you think I would have learned. I am hearing impaired and have a hear assist service dog. The first experience they shorted my order, I had ordered 2 vests and they only sent one. After one month of calling, they finally responded and I received the second vest. This time I ordered a vest on Nov 2, they charged my credit card on Nov. 2; I emailed them on Nov 15, asking for a update. I did not receive a response so on Nov 18, I called and left a message. I will keep this short, as it mimics the other reviews about LDS Leather. I placed an order a month ago, asked for an email confirmation and estimate of delivery, and never received either. My emails and voice mails were ignored. I finally emailed again and cancelled my order (after a month of frustration). This was my response from LDS Leather: "We have cancelled your order. DO NOT buy from this company! The have unethical business practices. My husband tried to purchase a custom leash for me in December of 2012. It is now May 30, 2013 and we still have not received their product. They charged our credit card upon the receipt of our order. We made many, MANY attempts to get order details and/or confirmation of shipping over the past 6 months but have never been given a satisfactory answer OR received a product. I ordered one 10 foot dog show lead & leather conditioner in Feb., for which my credit card was immediately charged. I spoke to Karen, explaining what I needed & that I needed the leash for shows April 23rd weekend. A three weeks before the shows I started calling & leaving messages. Finally Karen answered the phone & advised that she had "just printed the label". The shows came & went & no product received! I left numerous messages...none returned! I ordered my leash and collar back in OCT. 2012 and which i was charged the same day....today is Jan. 4th 3 months later and multiple phone calls as well and still no product and NO return phone calls from KAREN. When she did answer my phone calls they were always its on its way or i had to hand braid the leather or the post office messed up your shipment. I need answers today and I will be pressing charges for fraud if not. I have tried calling today and both numbers i have are since disconnected. NOT A GOOD WAY OF DOING BUSINESS PEOPLE!!!... I ordered a leather dog collar on June 8. I have still not received my merchandise and it is now August 8. I had gotten no response to emails and nobody ever answers the phone. When I finally got a response to my question asking "do you know when I might be receiving my collar, the answer I got was a one word response "NO". I followed up asking what does that mean - no? Unprofessional and dishonest. I ordered a few products for my dog. LDS Leather Company took the payment and never sent the merchandise. Their representative continued to lie and misrepresent when I emailed and called to follow up on the status of the delivery. Buyer beware! A word "theft" describes such behavior. Clearly I am not the only one with this experience. As a consequence there appears to be a pattern of deceit and dishonesty.
